Pregnancy Scans
Early Vision/Reassurance Scan
6-10 weeks | £75
The Early Vision Reassurance scan offers peace of mind and reassurance during the very early stages of your pregnancy. Why wait until 12 weeks to view your baby? This scan is usually performed between 6-10 weeks (calculated from the 1st day of your last menstrual period - LMP). We only recommend scans from 6 weeks gestation as prior to 6 weeks the pregnancy is so tiny and may not be detected on ultrasound, which can lead to unnecessary worry.
The scan can confirm a developing pregnancy within the uterus and perform basic well-being checks. The scan will also determine single/multiple pregnancy, visualisation of heartbeat for the very first time, gestational age and estimated due date.
We know that the earliest stages of pregnancy can be a tense and worrying time. That’s why we provide essential confidence and comfort from 6 weeks gestation, prior to the 12 week NHS scan. This can be provide essential ease of mind for those women experiencing bleeding or recurrent pregnancy loss. We recommend you consult your GP in the first instance (or call 111 for advice), if you are still concerned we are more than happy to see you.
This scan offers the opportunity to view your developing baby - basic health checks of baby will be performed, this means we will check your baby's heartbeat and assess your baby's general health and wellbeing. If our Sonographer spots anything unexpected during this routine check we will provide a wellbeing report to share with your Midwife or medical provider and advise appropriately. Please note our scans are intended for reassurance and limited wellbeing checks only and are not a replacement for routine NHS scans. Our Early Vision Reassurance Scan is an elective, non-diagnostic ultrasound experience and you must still attend all NHS appointments and antenatal care. It is not a detailed Anomaly scan and cannot detect all abnormalities.
Please drink 1 pint of fluids 30 mins before your scan and do not empty your bladder one hour before your scan.

Early Gender Blood Test + Scan
From 6 weeks | £195
Discover the gender of your baby earlier than ever before with our Early Gender Blood Test + Scan. Tiny Vision offers expectant parents the opportunity to find out if you’re having a boy or girl months before using our Authorised Partner: Forensic Genomics Innovation Hub. During your appointment we will undertake a viability scan to ensure you are 6 weeks pregnant and the pregnancy is developing as normal (in the event you are less than 6 weeks there are lower levels of accuracy). The Early Gender Blood Test will then be taken from the expectant mother which analyses cell free DNA (cf DNA) circulating in the mothers blood stream.
Providing 99.9% accuracy and reliable results. Your report will be emailed to you the SAME day the sample arrives in the lab (if before 11am) so a quick turn within 2-3 days direct from the laboratory (dependent on postal delivery of bloods).
Learning your babies gender early gives more time to choose colours, names and prepare for their arrival, but more importantly if you have a family history of genetic disorders which are only visible in one sex, learning the babies gender early on can help determine if follow up scans are required.
For twin pregnancy – The test cannot distinguish between one male and 2 male twins . If Y chromosome detected in blood – will state Male DNA detected without specifying how many of the twins are boys. If no male DNA is found – both babies are girls. For fraternal twins finding male DNA will conform at least one baby is a boy, but cannot distinguish if the second baby is a boy or girl.
If you have conceived through IVF or donor egg, please book this service from 8 weeks gestation. The test cannot be performed until this time.

NIPT Scan
From 10 weeks | £400
Non-invasive Prenatal test is commonly known as the Down’s syndrome test. It is one of the most predictive and accurate non-invasive tests available to predict the chance of your baby having a chromosomal abnormality and screens for specific chromosome conditions in a pregnancy as early as 10 weeks gestation.
When you are pregnant, your blood contains tiny amounts of your baby’s DNA (cell free fetal DNA). This prenatal test looks at this DNA to provide accurate information about the likelihood for the most common chromosome conditions such as Down Syndrome (trisomy 21), trisomy 18, and trisomy 13.
The test is a simple blood test taken from the mother which is then analysed for fetal cell-free DNA (cfDNA). Results are provided from receipt of the sample in a London laboratory within a few days.
Prior to the blood test, one of our qualified and experienced sonographers will perform an ultrasound scan. During this scan the sonographer will check and show you your baby’s heartbeat. The Sonographer will also need to check you are at the correct gestation (over 10 weeks). Unfortunately, if you are not over 10 weeks we will be unable to perform the test because there is only enough fetal cfDNA after 10 weeks to get accurate results.
